Ingredients
- 1 box Arnott's Tim Tam Dark Chocolate Cookies
- 3 tbsp N'Dulce Dulce De Leche Milk Chocolate Spread
- 1 bag white chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp vegetable shortening
- red food coloring
- blue food coloring
- sprinkles
Directions
Step 1
Place all cookies in a food processor and process until fine crumbs form. Add N’Dulce spread and process until mixed.
Step 2
Using a small ice cream scoop or measuring spoon, scoop mixture into one-inch balls, using your hands to roll them. Place them on a sheet pan with parchment and refrigerate for an hour.
Step 3
Heat shortening in a medium bowl in the microwave until melted and hot. Add white chocolate chips and stir. Microwave mixture for 20 seconds and stir. Repeat until chips are completely melted.
Step 4
Put 1–2 tbsp of melted chocolate in a small bowl and mix in enough red food coloring to get your desired color. Repeat with blue food coloring in a second small bowl.
Step 5
Using a fork, dip the cookie balls into the white chocolate, scraping off any excess chocolate. Place on parchment to allow chocolate to harden.
Step 6
Place red and blue chocolate in two different small piping bags and pipe over the truffles. Immediately decorate with sprinkles if desired. NOTE: If the chocolate has hardened, microwave for 5–10 seconds.
